first_imgCave music makers Moon Hooch have announced a one-of-a-kind live music experience, as if their music wasn’t unique enough. The trio, made up of two saxophonists and a drummer, will be performing at NYC’s Cathedral of St. John The Divine, the fourth-largest church in the world on October 23rd.The performance is actually part of the Cathedral’s art exhibition, titled The Value of Food: Sustaining a Green Planet, which is running from October 6th through April 3rd, 2016. The performance will include a cooking demonstration from drummer James Muschler, followed by a performance from the group. Why Moon Hooch? Well, for one, Muschler operates the blog Cooking In The Cave, which highlights vegan and organic cooking while the band goes on tour. Moon Hooch also hail from NYC, and have been playing at the top of their game for years. Their 2014 album, This Is A Cave Music, only cemented their place in the live music scene. Read the review here. For more information about this unique event, head here.last_img
