Each candle represented each year of her life.Dozens gathered for the vigil at WKFL Park in Homer to show their love and support to the family and to let them know they refuse to forget about Duffy. Family and friends who organized the vigil say they want to remind citizens and passersby that Duffy is still missing, and that her community is still looking for her. Her friends and family have not been shy about their belief that she was abducted, despite police not being able to officially name a cause of her disappearance.  The family is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to her return.  The case is also listed actively on the Peninsula Crime Stoppers website.center_img Anyone with information pertaining to the continued search should contact Homer Police or the Silver Alert Hotline: 1-855-SILVR99 (1-855-745-8799). Christina Whiting, administrator the Bring Duffy Home Facebook group: “There’s no resolution – she hasn’t been found, one way or the other. So, it’s difficult for the community, the family, the friends, to move on. We’re all in kind of a holding pattern. I just think it’s Homer: we’re a small community, it’s a tight-knit community, whether you knew her or not. Whether you know her family or not, she’s one of us. Many people won’t come, but many people are sharing the posts, many people will light a candle at home, people have donated money, people are sharing the flyers. I think it’s really important that people keep talking about her.”last_img
