first_imgThe Dive Team faced off with Delta State, Maryville, and the University of Indy on Friday for the first day of the Delta Diving Invitational. Friday was a successful day for the Argos’ Dive Squad as all four of their divers advanced to the 1M Finals tomorrow, and Jesstina Farrell continued her recent success by qualifying for National Preliminary. The UWF Dive Team will continue their action at the Delta Diving Invitational on Saturday with 1-meter diving at noon. Sophomore Morgan Ayers won the 200 Yard IM event by posting a time of 2:05.80, and Freshman Ester Rizzetto emerged victorious in the 50 Yard Freestyle event with a time of 23.41. Tabitha Read-Cayton finished in second place for the 50 Yard Freestyle right behind Rizzetto posting a time of 23.78. All three of the previously listed players combined with Pia Hulley to rack up another victory in Melbourne today in the 400 Yard Medley Relay with a total time of 3:49.43. SWIMMING RESULTS DAY ONE PENSACOLA, Fla. – The University of West Florida swim team finished the first day of the Panther Invitational in first place with 313.5 points, 47.5 points ahead of North Florida who’s in second place.
