(Photo by Emmele Photography) Sharecenter_img   PENSACOLA, Fla. – The No. 1-ranked University of West Florida men’s tennis team defeated No. 6 Concordia (N.Y.) 8-1 on Thursday afternoon at the Ralph “Skeeter” Carson Tennis Complex. UWF wins its 19th consecutive match to start the 2014 spring season. West Florida (19-0, 7-0 GSC) has three more regular-season matches before the Gulf South Conference Tournament on April 17-19 in Montgomery, Ala.UWF’s No. 4-ranked doubles team of Bruno Savi (Santana do Livramento, Brazil) and Tony Rajaobelina (Orleans, France) defeated Concordia’s No. 2-ranked doubles team of Piludu/Majauskas 8-0 at number one doubles.Domenico Sano (Macaray, Venezuela) and Elio Latella (Sydney, Australia) won 8-2 at number three doubles while Alex Peyrot (Castelnaudary, France) and Felipe Frattini (Sao Paulo, Brazil) won a very close match at number two doubles by a score of 9-7.No. 1 Savi defeated No. 3 Juuso Ojanen 6-0, 6-3 at number one singles while No. 9 Peyrot defeated No. 6 Danielle Piludu at number two singles 6-3, 3-6, 10-3.Frattini won 6-4, 6-0 at number four singles while Latella won 7-5, 6-0 at number five singles.
