Share Palmer named NSCAA National Player of the Weekcenter_img    KANSAS CITY, Kan. – West Florida forward Chelsea Palmer was named the National Soccer Coaches Association of America Division II National Player of the Week Tuesday after scoring three goals and recording three assists in two games last week.The senior from Plano, Texas has five goals and eight assists for 18 points in her last five games, averaging 3.6 points per game during that span.Palmer is the defending NSCAA Player of the Year and is ranked second in D-II in career assists per game (0.68). This season, she is ranked sixth in assists per game (.64) and 18th in points per game (1.93).Palmer was also named the Gulf South Conference Player of the Week for the second consecutive week. An Argonaut has earned the honor in three consecutive weeks including senior Sashana Campbell’s (Manchester, Jamaica/Darton) award on Oct. 15.
