PHOTO COURTESY OF THEIMANN SUNER ATENEO de Iloilo Baby Dragons and Iloilo Doctors’ College bagged a title each in the 2018 Iloilo Schools Sports Association Meet volleyball at the Ateneo de Iloilo gym in Mandurriao, Iloilo City.Behind team captain Adi Via Resano, the Baby Dragons completed their dominance in secondary girls with a 25-23, 25-11 victory over Hua Siong College of Iloilo Red Phoenix in the finals.After battling the Red Phoenix to a toe-to-toe first set, the Baby Dragons waxed hot in the second frame as they jumped to an early double-digit advantage and never looked back.Doctors’, meanwhile, clinched the crown in tertiary men after defeating University of San Agustin 27-25, 25-21, 25-23 in the weekend finale. Baby Dragons head coach Theimann Suner lauded his players for their consistency – not dropping a set the entire tournament.“We are really not after that feat (not dropping a set).
